After 6 months of retirement that included four trips to Des Moines and Okoboji and a stint working for the Houston Astros in their successful quest for a World Series crown Mike retired from retirement. In January of 2018, Mike took a part time (Monday- Thursday) position with the Mayor's Office of Special Events (MOSE) helping the city of Houston manage sponsorship of their signature special events.

Mike Critelli, TRHS Class of 1976 retires after a distinguished 30 year career at Silver Eagle Distributors in Houston, Texas. Silver Eagle is the nations largest Anheuser-Busch distributor and carries Modelo brands as well dozens of local, regional and national craft beers. While Mike was directing SED's Marketing Department, he helped move their market share from 24% in 1987 to 64% in 2005. Since 2005, Mike has been a Key Account Manager calling on national and regional chains. Today, two out of every three beers sold in greater Houston area comes through Silver Eagle's warehouse. Mike is retiring in July 2017 and will take an extended vacation at family home at Lake Okoboji, IA.

About 30 alumni from the class of 1956 will gather in Scottsdale, AZ on November 14th. There will be two days of a golf match between the Jewish alumni and the Gentile alumni, which is a rematch from our 50th reunion played at Wauconda and Waveland golf courses in September of 2006. I would be happy to report to you highlites of this fun
